In the dining room, the glorious (and expensive) solid oak, Amish made table is no longer suitable for serving guests, but is stock-piled full of girl scout cookies, laundry piles, swimming bags, and homework assignments. It is hazardous to get past.
The house is a mess. But as long as you are here, feel free to sign the guestbook. Or, write your name in the inch thick layer of dust on the glass entertainment center. Right under where the kids have been playing tic-tac-toe.

I can't even tell you how much this post encourages me. My sole purpose in life today is to try to get my house out of its current unkempt, bio-hazard state. It's not going well. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone.
yes, i too am glad to know that I am not alone, my living room looks like a bomb went off in it and everything I try to do is one step forward, two steps back.

Contents of my kitchen table: laptop, multiple candy wrappers, pens, discarded shopping bags, gift bags (HC keeps getting presents!), container of Gerber puffs, bib, Tide to go pen, empty jars of baby food, baby shoes, dog medication (Sedona got an ulcer on her eye and I feel like a horrible dog mommy)... and the list goes on. No worries, I have your table beat. Come over and check out the mess and have some cottage cheese with HC if it makes you feel better. Her daddy bought her some LARGE CURD so those little pinchers can grab onto more curds. You know who had a c-section Monday and everybody is fine.
HAHAHAHA! Amy, we live the same life honey. :)
