We track out next week for a three week break. The three big kids can't wait to "roadtrip" with me back to Indiana for a long weekend to see their friends. It's a long haul (11 hours) and I was considering just hanging out and staying home....until I pulled out these pictures.
They want to go. Even when I tell them how long the ride is. I love the connections the kids still have with their friends. Sometimes email and phone calls and letters just don't do it. I understand. I feel the same way about my friends.
So midwest, in a few weeks... here we come. If only for a few days.
